70-4-9 License renewal applications. (a)
Each licensee who is on active military duty dur-
ing a time of national emergency shall not be re-
quired to pay any license renewal fee due at that
time.

 (b)  The annual continuing education require-
ment shall be waived for any licensee who is either
on active military duty during a time of national
emergency or impaired, as defined by K.S.A. 47-
846(c) and amendments thereto. (Authorized by
