Audit Search

Search the Kansas Division of Legislative Post Audit Database for past audits. To search for an audit report, enter search criteria in one or more of the fields below and click the "Search" button.

The "Search Results" screen that comes up displays the number, title, and date of all audits meeting your search criteria. For audits issued after 2000, clicking on the "Display Audit Information" button will return a brief abstract, as well as a link to the electronic version of the full report in PDF format. Also, depending on the audit, there may be an "executive summary" link that provides more detail than the abstract paragraph, but is a quicker read than the full report. For reports issued before 2000, clicking on the "Display Audit Information" button generally will return an abstract paragraph only. In most cases, these older reports aren't available online, but can be requested from our office.

Search Hints:

• When searching by audit number, your search term must be in the form YYPAXX with no spaces (for example, 08PA13 or 09CC01)
• The database contains only performance audits. To find compliance & control audits or financial-compliance audits, please click on the "audit reports" link on the navigation bar at left
• For audits of school districts, cities, or other local units of government, select "non-State government"
• For audits involving private entities such as Blue Cross, CDDOs, foster care contractors, etc., select "non-government entity."
• For audits involving more than 8-10 State agencies or other entities, they may not be listed separately. Try selecting "multiple entities" from the list, or search by keyword.
