SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS WITH BACCALAUREATE ENGINEERING DEGREES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

All baccalaureate engineering degrees earned outside the United States must be evaluated by an organization approved by the Board before educational credit may be considered.

The Board of Technical Professions will make the final determination of whether the education meets the educational requirement per K.A.R. 66-9-4.

You are strongly encouraged to send your degree materials as soon as possible since a thorough evaluation of educational credentials could take several months. If additional documentation is needed once the deadline is passed, the applicant will be required to wait for the next available exam.

When the Board makes a determination, you will be notified of the Boards decision and given further instructions on taking the examination.
