* Required for applicants with a  baccalaureate engineering degree from outside the United States.  The evaluation of the degree must be received in the Board Office by this deadline.

Study Guide Information for Examinations
Examination study material information for engineering and land surveying is available through NCEES and can be accessed via the NCEES home page at http://www.ncees.org/.

The Professional Geologists Candidate Handbook is available through the board office or the ASBOG website at http://www.asbog.org/  

Exam RETAKE or NO-SHOW Information
Any applicant who is admitted to an examination and who either does not appear for the exam or who fails the exam, must again pay the fee to take the exam in another exam administration.  Kansas law does not provide for refunds of any application fees. 

Comity/Reciprocity Applicants
All comity/reciprocity applications must be complete in the board office no later than 30 days prior to the next scheduled meeting of the board.  Tentative board meeting dates appear both in the newsletter and on this web site under "Schedule of Board Meetings".  

Architect Registration Examination (ARE)
There are no board deadlines to take the ARE examination.  An "eligible" (state board approved) candidate may schedule an appointment at their convenience to take a division of the exam.  Eligible exam candidates will receive detailed information from the Chauncey Group describing how they can schedule an exam.  More information regarding the computerized architect exam may also be found on NCARB's home page at http://www.ncarb.org/

Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE)
There are no Board deadlines to take the LARE.  All applications go through CLARB.  See their website at www.clarb.org  To become licensed in Kansas, file an application with the Board once you have passed all sections of the exam.
