EXAM SCORE NOTICE
The PE/FE Exam result letters were mailed out on Friday, June 26, 2009. Please do not call the office for scores as they cannot and will not be given out over the telephone. If you have not received your notice before July 7, 2009, you may call the Board office for instructions.

TO ALL ENGINEERS AND LAND SURVEYORS WHO RECEIVED THEIR LICENSES AS A RESULT OF THE OCTOBER 2008 AND APRIL 2009 EXAMS:
A Licensure Recognition Ceremony will be held for you and your guests on Friday,July 10, 2009, at 3:00 p.m., at the Kansas Statehouse (Capitol), Topeka, KS.
If you have not received your invitation, please phone the Board Office at 785-296-8612.

NEW CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION FORM

New Statutes go into effect July 1, 2009. Any Business Entity offering services in a technical profession must have a Certificate of Authorization from the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions. Click here for the new Application for a Certificate of Authorization.  A Business Entity means a general corporation, professional corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, corporate partnership or other legal entity created by law.  If your company currently holds a Certificate of Authorization, you do not need to re-apply. If questions, please contact the Board office.

You may use the on-line system if your social security number is on file at the board office.  (You may call the board office at 785-296-4400 to provide your SSN if you wish).

Agency Mission

To provide maximum protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Kansas by assuring that the practice of engineering, architecture, land surveying, landscape architecture, and geology in the state is carried out only by those persons who are proven to be qualified as prescribed by the statutes and rules and regulations of the Board of Technical Professions.
