EXAM SCORE NOTICE TO ALL ENGINEERS AND LAND SURVEYORS WHO RECEIVED THEIR LICENSES AS A RESULT OF THE OCTOBER 2008 AND APRIL 2009 EXAMS: NEW CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION FORM New Statutes go into effect July 1, 2009. Any Business Entity offering services in a technical profession must have a Certificate of Authorization from the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions. Click here for the new Application for a Certificate of Authorization. A Business Entity means a general corporation, professional corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, corporate partnership or other legal entity created by law. If your company currently holds a Certificate of Authorization, you do not need to re-apply. If questions, please contact the Board office. License Renewals ATTENTION: Architects whose last name begins with M-Z. The "On Line Renewal" window is open for you to renew your license online beginning May 2, 2009 through August 29, 2009. ATTENTION: Geologists whose last name begins with M-Z. The "On Line Renewal" window is open for you to renew your license online, beginning May 2, 2009 through August 29, 2009.
