Licenses not paid within six (6) months of their renewal due date are automatically dropped by the board. In order to reinstate any dropped license, it is necessary to pay all past-due fees plus a penalty in the amount of the current renewal fee and to meet all current Kansas licensure requirements. All past due continuing education hours must be made up within one year of reinstatement in order to be licensed on an active basis.
