The Thursday, November 14, 2013 edition of the Kansas City Star reports that six people involved with National Prearranged Services, Inc. were sentenced to prison terms from 18 months to 10 years.

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) and the National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations (NOLHGA) have announced important developments in a plan to protect insurance consumers in the case involving National Prearranged Services, Inc.
