Items discussed in the brochure include important documents needed when applying for assistance, the VA Burial Benefits available to the families, what actions to take at time of need when death occurs. UPDATED 2-26-2012 The Funeral Consumers Alliance has a document available on-line on their web site under the section titled Frequently Asked Questions/Documents Recycle Your Medical Devices that could prove helpful. Items discussed in the brochure include hearing aids, pacemakers and insulin pumps. Information regarding the rehabilitation of Memorial Service/Lincoln Memorial Life Insurance Companies/National Prearranged Funeral Services which includes Legal Documents relating to the rehabilitation. Additional information can be found on the web site of the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), including a Resource Page and notices/news/press releases and FAQ, as well as Consumer information for contract/policy owners. The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) and the National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations (NOLHGA) have announced important developments in a plan to protect insurance consumers in the case involving National Prearranged Services, Inc. (NPS), Lincoln Memorial and Memorial Service.
