APPROVED CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS for CREMATORY OPERATORS

The following programs have been approved for continuing education credit for CREMATORY OPERATORS by the Mortuary Arts Board. This list is an update from the last quarterly list of October 13, 2011 and is updated whenever a new program has been approved. All programs added since last update are marked ADDED with the corresponding date.

These programs will count as credit toward the two hours of continuing education required for crematory operators every two years. They can also be used for funeral directors/embalmers credit--but NOT both.

ADDED 4-10-2012
Crematory Operator Certification Program is being presented at the 2012 KFDA Convention on May 9, 2012 at 8:30am-3:30pm in Topeka, KS at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. To register please call the KFDA at 785/232-7789. This program has bee approved for six (6) hours of continuing education credit.
