The hours listed below will count as credit toward the 6 HOUR certification requirement for licensure as a crematory operator.

These credits can also be used for funeral director/embalmer credit--but NOT both. For example if you complete a six (6) hour course, two (2) hours will count towards your crematory operator CE requirement and four (4) hours will count towards your funeral director/embalmer CE requirement. Certification courses can only be taken once every renewal period. 

The following programs have been approved to meet initial licensure requirements and for continuing education credit for Crematory Operators by the Kansas State Board of Mortuary Arts (KSBMA.)
