FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 25, 2008 Kansas Governor to host Ribbon Cutting for new training venue at Great Plains Regional Training Center; and Groundbreaking for new Air Guard facility in Salina On Friday, March 28, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius and Maj. Gen. Tod Bunting, Director of Kansas Homeland Security, will host a ribbon cutting for a new railcar training venue at the Great Plains Joint Regional Training Center (GPJRTC) in Salina. In addition, Sebelius will host a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility for the Kansas Air Guard's Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS), at the Smoky Hill Weapons Range in Salina. Other guests attending the ceremonies include Senator Sam Brownback and Congressman Todd Tiahrt. At 10 a.m. Gov. Sebelius and Gen. Bunting will hold a news conference
