The board was recently the recipient of more than $150,000 donated by Kansans to bring Kansas National Guard troops home for Christmas from Fort Bliss, Texas, where they were training for a deployment to Iraq, as well as some soldiers who were on medical hold at other locations in the United States. We appreciate any and all efforts toward this recent fund drive, said Reveles. The fund drive itself exceeded everyones expectations. I know that the chairperson of the board, Barbara Bunting, wishes to extend her thanks to the employees of Cargill for this donation and well make sure we spend these funds wisely.
