OLD IRONSIDES TOPIC OF BROWN BAG LUNCH PRESENTATION AT KANSAS MUSEUM OF THE NATIONAL GUARD The Museum of the Kansas National Guard will host a presentation on the USS Constitution, the oldest warship still afloat in the world, on Wednesday, Jan. 30. The Brown Bag Lunch presentation will begin at noon at the museum, 6700 South Topeka Blvd., Forbes Field, Topeka. The presentation is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch and enjoy the program. The program will be presented by staff members of the USS Constitution Museum and U.S. Navy crew members currently serving on board the ship. The presentation will include a history of Old Ironsides and information on how the ship is being conserved and protected. A half hour presentation will be given by the Senior Chief of the USS Constitution and Anne Grimes Rand, the Executive Vice President of the USS Constitution Museum. The event is part of Old Ironsides Across the Nation, a national
educational collaborative between the USS Constitution Museum in Boston
