ARMENIAN DELEGATION OBSERVES WICHITA EMERGENCY RESPONSE EXERCISE

Members of a delegation from the Republic of Armenia were in Wichita Oct. 17-19 to observe a disaster training and exercise. The delegation visited the state as part of the Kansas National Guard Partnership Program. The National Guard partners with emerging nations to foster relationships in various areas including military, business, education and civilian.

The delegation included two members of the Armenian Rescue Service and two members from the Armenian Defense Department responsible for its Expeditionary Medical System (mobile hospital).

They visited the Kansas National Guard Expeditionary Medical System facility, which was established at 777 East Waterman as part of the exercise.
