KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD BATTERY WILL HOST OPEN HOUSE IN CONCORDIA

Detachment 1, Battery A, 2nd Battalion, 130th Field Artillery, Kansas National Guard, will host an open house on Saturday, Oct. 13, from noon to 5 p.m.

The open house will be held at the Kansas National Guard Armory, 2115 Blosser Drive, Concordia, and will feature displays of the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System, M1068 Command Post Carrier, wheeled vehicles and weapon systems. The public is also invited to participate in paintball games, a rock climbing wall, and other events.

The Battery A Family Readiness Group will operate a concession stand with proceeds going to enhance the family readiness and support of our National Guard Soldiers and families. For further information, contact Sgt. Jeffrey Metz at (785) 243-1153.
