86-1-13 Submission of evidence of course attendance.
- Before taking the examination required by K.S.A. 58-3039, and
amendments thereto, each applicant for an original license as a salesperson
shall submit evidence required by subsection (a) of K.S.A. 58-3046a,
and amendments thereto, to the testing service designated by the Commission.
The evidence submitted shall be a certificate of completion of a course
registered, pursuant to K.A.R. 86-1-11, under the title ``Principles
of Real Estate,'' of not less than 30 hours, approved by the Commission
and attended by the applicant within 12 months immediately before
the examination date.
- Before taking the examination required by K.S.A. 58-3039, and
amendments thereto, each applicant for an original license as a broker
shall submit evidence required by subsection (b) of K.S.A. 58-3046a,
and amendments thereto, to the testing service designated by the Commission.
The evidence shall be a certificate of completion of a course registered,
pursuant to K.A.R. 86-1-11, under the title ``Broker Pre-License Course,''
of not less than 24 hours, approved by the Commission and attended
by the applicant within 12 months immediately before the examination
date.
- Each licensee shall retain certificates of completion for each
course attended to meet the requirements of subsection (c), (d) or
(e) of K.S.A. 58-3046a and amendments thereto until the licensee's
license has been renewed and shall furnish the certificates to the
Commission if the Commission requests. Rosters submitted by schools
pursuant to K.A.R. 86-1-17 may be accepted by the Commission as evidence
of attendance of courses.
