Do not sign or initial any contractual agreement on behalf of another person in a real estate transaction unless you are authorized to do so by a duly executed power of attorney.

Do not include authorization to sign for a principal in an agency agreement. An agency agreement may not contain an authorization for the broker to sign or initial any document on behalf of the broker's client in a real estate transaction or authorization for the broker to act as attorney-in-fact for the client.
