2010 Generic Renewal Application

The 2010 renewal applications were mailed to each appraiser's mailing address on March 1, 2010.

Continuing Education: Although each appraiser renews annually, continuing education runs on a two-year cycle. Renewals during even years (2010, 2012, etc.) do not require that you log continuing education. You will simply complete the renewal application and submit it with the renewal fee. Renewals during odd years (2011, 2013, etc.) require that each appraiser log 28 hours of continuing education.

Each education cycle runs from July 1 of each odd year through June 30 of the following odd year. The current education cycle began on July 1, 2009 and will end on June 30, 2011. Keep in mind that continuing education completed after July 1, 2009, but used to meet the 2009 renewal requirement, is not eligible for use in 2011.

During each two-year education cycle each appraiser is required to complete the 7-hour USPAP Update course as a part of the 28 hours required. The 15-hour tested USPAP course cannot be substituted for the Update course.
