Multiple Brands (Tier 1) Personal Computers and LAN Servers: Contract No. 31619
This contract allows the purchase of multiple brand name options for all agencies of the State of Kansas.
The contract vendor will provide the complete product lines for: Apple Computer (Government only,
Higher Education to use contract 31595), Compaq Computer Corp., Digital Equipment Co.,
Hewlett-Packard Co., IBM, and Toshiba (Notebooks only).
The contractor will supply the selected brands on a fixed cost plus basis for the term of the contract. The prices will be revised as the market, manufacturers, and products change with an on-line pricing structure. Consult the current price list for items offered and prices.
Basic microcomputer repair parts, microcomputer hardware and equipment upgrades ( i.e. replacement HDD, SIMMS, etc.) are also included in the contract award. Only accessory items not currently available on other state contracts will be included in the contract ( i.e. Contract 31036, Asante Mac Ethernet cards will NOT be included). This contract only includes provisions for equipment directly installed within the CPU and is not intended to include network equipment, hubs, etc..Available to political subdivisions of the State of Kansas. The State of Kansas Microsoft Agreement is a software purchasing program designed to reduce the costs
associated with acquiring, maintaining, and managing Microsoft software products. The agreement allows
state and local government agencies to take advantage of discount pricing normally reserved for large
corporate customers. In addition, agencies can order products on an as-needed basis rather than having to
