Senate Substitute for Senate Bill 535 significantly changes how Kansas credit union branch, apply for changes in field of membership and the merger of credit unions. This link is to a pdf file of SB 535 that has been approved by the Kansas House and Senate and signed by Governor Kathleen Sebelius. SB 535 is effective July 1, 2008.
