The mission of the KSBAG is to identify needs facing Kansas businesses and solve problems by providing better service through customer-focused, cost-effective, interagency strategies including referrals, information distribution and assistance. The KSBAG participants meet quarterly to share resources and related services directed to small businesses as a strategy to promote communication among group members to efficiently utilize resources, address common concerns and coordinate efforts.
The participating federal and state agencies administer and coordinate seminars, roundtables and conferences throughout the state targeted to start-up and existing small businesses independently, with an agreement to refer businesses across agencies and share related information. The KSBAG also seeks to promote joint educational/training efforts for small businesses by planning seminars to allow for joint presentation.
