Mission Statement:
To facilitate access and provide health care services for Douglas County
residents with limited financial means who are not covered by private or
governmental insurance programs.
Health Care Access is a community based primary care clinic supported by local resources including more than 140 volunteer health care professionals and collaborating agencies. The services include the primary care clinic, assistance with prescription medication and specialist referrals.
The goal of Health Care Access is to be a "medical home" for individuals
and families who have no other health care resources.
This is achieved by:
 | Working closely with other health agencies to avoid duplication of services |
| Treating medical concerns in a timely and appropriate manner through services offered by a nurse practitioner or physician |
| Assisting patients with their medications when needed. |
| Maintaining the services of a full range of volunteer health professionals to ensure comprehensive care. |
